MAY 2024 – Post Conference Assembly
After much discussion over several assemblies and a recommendation by an appointed Archives Relocation Ad-hoc Committee, Greg N., District 30 DCM, made a motion and accepted a friendly amendment to the motion that was seconded by John B., GSR in District 41.
MOTION: The Area 07 Officers be given the right of decision to acquire rental space for the area archives and storage not to exceed $2,000 a month rent. The area officers should keep in mind financial prudence and transparency. Also, the Area Committee [which consists of Area Officers and District Committee Members], be given the right of decision to approve one-time [moving] expenses up to $2,000.
